Fort Nathan

My parents are pretty amazing, and they build forts for their grand boys. Fort Nathan was complete this year at Thanksgiving, but it was too cold and rainy to go outside for him to see it. This weekend, we had a tournament in Winnsboro, which is 15 miles from their house. They graciously opened their home to us to rest between games. (more on that later) While we were there, Nathan got to see his fort and play on it. To say he LOVED it would be an understatement. Here are the pictures of him playing on it.

Thanks Gammy and PawPaw, I love my fort and I love y'all!

Riding the Horse

When I was little, my Meme had a little rocking horse that I always loved to play with when I went to her house around Christmas time. A few years ago, she cleaned out a lot of her Christmas decorations and let me and Stacy pick which ones we wanted. One of the things I picked was that horse. This year when I started getting our decorations out, Nathan ran to that horse and immediately started playing with it. It made me so happy. What was so funny was that he actually tried to ride that little thing! Here are the pictures of what happened......

1) Just Playing with it

2) Deciding to ride it

3) Getting bucked off by the wooden horse!

We were all laughing so hard, it was priceless!!

Decorating the Tree!

This year is Nathan's second Christmas, but it was the first year that he could actually help decorate the tree. When I first put it up, he was scared of it. It was so cute, he would run by it and never take his eyes off it. He started saying "No Tree" and shaking his finger at it. After about a day, he got used to it and then he helped us decorate it. He did a pretty good job, but he like to hang all the ornaments on one branch....which you will see in a picture.

We also did his little tree for his room.

He did a great job!

Happy Birthday PawPaw

We celebrated PawPaw's birthday this past weekend at Meme and Paw's house. Lots of good food, fun times with family and lots of laughs were happening!

Happy Birthday PawPaw, we love you!

Family Time

I love it when all 3 of us get to be together. That happened a lot this past week, and to no surprise, I took pictures!

I love his "silly face" here!

What a great week with my boys!

Thanksgiving

This year, Thanksgiving kept us busy traveling to four different houses. The time with family and the food was well worth it though! I just picked out a few of the pictures to highlight our week.
